Soviet Artillery

I have taken some pictures of my Soviet Artillery. The models are all Heroics&Ros or Scotia . Both offer very good mail order turn around and have  massive ranges to choose from.

This covers the regular Soviet field artillery and also the specialist "High Power" artillery in the form of the S23 180mm gun and the 2S4 Sp 240mm mortar. Next time "Soviet Air Defence".

      Hi Richard,
      I've got another 6 2S1s, giving 9 in total. As a soviet player you can't have too much artillery...or air defence units!

    Those are looking nice. What are you using for the boxes and others bits and pieces?

    Hi Andy, the boxes on the D-30's are lengths of plastic rod and the folded tarps are 1/76th scale vehicle stowage by SHQ. The items on the bases of the 180's are precast onto the models base.

    Thanks Steve. I have artillery of my own to base up soon and am looking for stuff to add. I'm thinking of adding a few crew to my 2S4 stands. And doing all mine on 40x40 with transport on the base as well.
