Crisis Point 6, British units Pt2- Engineer Fv432s

I was fortunate to win some models on Ebay, 10 FV432+Rarden Turret. Great I thought until I realised The British Army only made 13 and they were used by the Berlin Brigade! So what to do with 10 models I couldn't use? The hulls with a little work could be used for ambulances but also for transport for my engineers. At a recent military vehicle show I saw this, an FV432 with a stowage "bin" over the rear hatch.

So I decided to make 3 of these;

The addition of some stowage and a cammo net hides the hole were the turret would have been.

  3. Cool. I'm mainly putting my engineers in Spartans - for some reason I seem to have more of that APC than any other. The FV432 with Ranger and Bar minelayer is a nice looking model too - if you fancy it they could be scratch built too as they use the same hull as those you show with the Rarden mount. I'll post a pic of the two I have shortly.

    Cheers, Andy

  4. Nice repurposing & modelling there, though I'd have been tempted to model the Berlin Brigade anyway. Although the thought of Berlin Brigade camo in 6mm makes me go a bit cross eyed :D

    1. Yes, I remember a poster on the Guild did some fantastic 6mm Berlin Brigade units with some great camo. Awsome.
