Some pictures of a recent game between Danny and myself using Danny's West Germans and my Soviets at the Grimsby Wargames Society. A close game and enjoyable, we called it a draw, but if we had played on it might have gone either way. The terrain is a mix of mine and the clubs.

More ACW at the Grimsby Club.
Dan and myself got together to play another American Civil War game using Black Powder and this time some of the new rules from the Glory Halleluja supplement. Another stand 'em up and knock 'em down game. Dan is getting better with the rules now so we called this one a draw but we both felt if we had played on it would have swung in the Union's favour.
The rules from the supplement do add a bit more flavour of the Civil War. We particularly like the sniper and officer casualty rules as well as the new rules for units passing through one another and the way six gun batteries are now handled, the jury's still out on the Whipped rule as neither of us thought it worked well.
All figures Danny's and my own, the terrain Grimsby Wargames Society.
